My first dutch oven: Aluminum or cast iron? - camping cast iron dutch oven
Hmm, I wonder if Hasbro is a rose called "My First Dutch oven?" Lol!
I will try it this summer for the first time I read the sites, but asked what everyone thought. I am a woman, and while I'm young enough, I'm not the demands for solid aluminum for me, because I want to be able to manage what is not my husband there.
Furthermore, I am still things that you say you eat too easy to burn aluminum, and since I am a beginner in this, the read me worry.
Moreover, when camping, we are now sorry for the cleaning of the kitchen, so I want something that is deeply maintenance. Fonte food can not stick so bad, but not routine care, to make it completely after each use.
What good / what would you recommend? I'll cook for 5 people, mainly for cooking dishes like stews, and maybe some pork barbecue.
Thank you!

We are talking about a camp Dutch oven, do not you? The advantages of aluminum with a weight of one is ideal if you must - I know a man who swears by GSI DO - kayak camping. It fits! Aluminum is lighter, it heats faster, etc. So, it must be adapted to your cooking time.
I left the iron - I have 2 two pavilions, camping safely, legs (legs) are not household. Even if you have a good surface for food that they can join if you burn something, I stay, but not so difficult to clean. My sister is for cleaning the day after the infamous ...
The best tool for cleaning iron I've found are small nylon pan scraper. If at Target, Wal-Mart, Pampered Chef, or your local supermarket available baking gear. They work very well. Heat the pan with the dirty water in the IT and it cools down, scrape out the dirt.
Since five, I would advise using a 12 "in Dutch. I, 12 in order for 4-7 of us to cook, and I have a 10" for 2-4 peopleLE. Another tool is great to have this furniture in aluminum http://www.campliner.com/
I buy them online here:

Of course you can use aluminum foil oven product line is very dirty, but the pre-formed liners are good if you want to impress their friends camping!
During a trip on the river, had a plate of Irish stew, which (the house is heated in my little camp stove, it is always better to prepare one or two days later). Boston brown bread in the aluminum coating on the 12 "Lodge Dutch cooking to accompany the soup. Both the right time. He laid the bread along the Dutch, and bakes a cake for dessert, pineapple upside down my friend's birthday. All came out good!
Stew and pulled pork are great in DOS Another tasty thing to try: roasted turkey breast with vegetables. Place the baby red potatoes, carrots, onions and other vegetables are everything you imagine how the Olympic Games, with half a turkey breast (or season) is usually then liCounterpart in the hand, water, white wine, red wine, beer, chicken broth, eat, etc., over the coals on top and bottom, and unbelievable. I have the roast in this manner. Better than driving the screws of the camper with the smell of good food alone. :)
Never buy cookware made of aluminum, metal debris and gets into food. always go with stainless steel or cast iron. Companies like Calphalon Nice and expensive, but most are made of aluminum. They sell high quality products for less money. Beka Buy or copper pots or dressed all in French. You can not go wrong with them.
Alluminum always burn yet! Casting can be difficult, but the quality of food you get from it is certainly worthwhile.
Aluminum is completely wrong! Dutch ovens are to be made .... but if he is going to the poisoning of his car!
Fonte, no question.
