Basketball Birthday Cakes I'm Making A Basketball Cake?

I'm making a basketball cake? - basketball birthday cakes

Ok, so my sister wants a cake from basketball for his birthday, cake, and I am the designated baker. I thought, well, slightly yellow cake, carrot cake, right? She said no, chocolate cake.
What type of glaze I use? Then I dyed vanilla frosting orange or a strange taste with a chocolate cake?

And if you are a very good recipe suggestions ...

Magnolia Vanilla Butter Frosting

Done enough for a 2-layer 9-inch cake or 2 dozen cupcakes *

1 cup (2 sticks) butter, soft
6 to 8 cups confectioners sugar
Milk 1 / 2 cup
2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Place the butter in a large bowl. Add 4 cups of sugar, then milk and vanilla. Beat on medium speed of electric mixer until smooth and creamy, about 3-5 minutes. Little by little, remaining sugar, 1 cup at a time, beating after each addition (about 2 minutes) until the ice is thick enough to make a good spreading consistency. You may not need to add sugar. If desired, add some dROPS coloring and mix well. (Use and store ice at room temperature, because the ice seems to be refrigerated if.) Icing can be stored in an airtight container up to 3 days.

* Note:
If you have a 3-Layer Cake ice proportions with the following recipe:

1 1 / 2 cups (3 sticks) butter

I would taste either vanilla or orange-flavored meringue both good with chocolate cake. Then roll the orange building on the top piece and use fondant for the black lines of the ball. So if you use a model to roll to give a realistic texture fee basis. Hope this helps!

That's what I would do. Vanilla frosting with a chocolate cake is delicious. I made it for my kids, soccer cake, he wanted a chocolate cake and vanilla butter icing, I.

Do not use white frosting and orange color, then with black licorice to make the stitches on the ball. also an orange-flavored frosting would go well with a chocolate cake. Fun
